The topic of the present volume is etymological research into Old Church Slavonic in wider Slavonic and Indo-European perspectives, namely in the context of the upcoming finalization of the Etymological Dictionary of the Old Church Slavonic Language, so far the only existing comprehensive etymological dictionary of this language.
